*Karol is a 15.3h, 2011 chestnut Shagya-Arabian gelding, imported from France as a yearling. He was bred by La Ferme du Cavallon, well known in EU for their endurance Shagyas. His sire Carol is a proven endurance horse in EU and many of his offspring are doing well in endurance in the EU, including Alto de Traclin, the current #1 ranked FEI endurance horse. *Karol's pedigree includes some outstanding Shagyas, including Bajar, the Gazal VII son Bartok, as well as the Arabian Morafic. His dam lines carry the the El Sbaa and Hadban lines. His grandsire Osiris was a full brother to *Oman. He is a very high percentage Shagya (15/16) with only 1 purebred Araban in his 4th generation. He has a very sweet temperament and is a beautiful, powerful mover with good size bone. He came to us with minimal handling and I am exceptionally pleased at how quick he is learning and well behaved he has become. SCID/CA/LFS/OAAM Negative. He unfortunately came to us from his previous owner with a seminal infection that cannot completely be cured. He has been gelded and is for sale. Outstanding endurance prospect. Not yet under saddle, but he will go into training after he is gelded. Currently priced at $6,000, but that will go up after training. This truly breaks our heart to geld him, but I feel we have exhausted all our options.
